Holiday Fort Party

What do you get when you mix children’s clothing, an adult-sized fort, and a bunch of booze? A sleepover with footie pajamas and movie watching.

We had a blast this Saturday night hanging out, snacking, watching movies, and eventually singing karaoke until 4am. The best part was when we all got sleepy at about the same time. We were like little kids, all shook up and excited, trying to stay up all night. Then in one moment we were all on the couch or under the fort asleep or almost there. Great times with my pals, and a great way to celebrate the holidays a little early.

60 D’s of Christmas

I’ve obviously been pretty absent here, but it’s for good reason. I started a new job at a great place, and I’ve been busy getting settled. That hasn’t stopped my HDSLR dreams though!

I have been thinking about buying a second shooter for a couple of months now. When I saw this great post from Planet5D, I thought some more. Then this morning, I went to Amazon and looked again. A new 60D, body only, for $999?! You know what, why not?

I’ll have it by next week, and I’m super excited. Merry Christmas to me!
